I still have my analog vaccum guages that I use for my TT2 Ducati. Never even crossed my mind to even try to use them but as you said, the balance tube would negate a more accurate reading. I guess the more we get into trying to up the power output and mod our engines, the more noticeable things like the TB's need to be looked at. I got into this only because I felt it necessary when I installed my Z1 58mm TB's. Otherwise, I may not have even delved into it as many normally don't.
